The FCACC Medical Student Section aims to connect medical students interested in cardiology with mentors in their future career field. Our mission is to equip medical students with the tools to succeed on their journey to becoming cardiologists by facilitating these mentorship connections early in their training.
Objectives
Build off the existing FCACC Residency Mentorship Program to connect medical students enrolled in the state of Florida interested in cardiology with internal medicine residents currently enrolled in the FCACC Residency Mentorship Program to facilitate professional development
Match medical students with residents based on their specific interests and goals for their personal mentor-mentee relationship
Facilitate networking opportunities within FCACC by encouraging medical students to meet their mentors and other physicians at the FCACC Winter Forum and FCACC Annual Meeting
