CardioConnect:Exploring Careers in Cardiology with Women Who Are Leading the Way
Mission: The CardioConnect Program was developed in 2024 by the Florida ACC WIC Committee to encourage female medical students and internal medicine residents to pursue a career in cardiology, thus increasing future recruitment of women in our field. With increased representation of women in cardiology, we can continue to break down barriers affecting care of women with heart disease.
The Women Cardiologist (WIC) Member Section offers opportunities to strengthen professional support system and leadership skills through networking events, professional development and mentoring programs.
