CardioConnect Dinner

hosted by the Florida ACC Women in Cardiology (WIC)

As part of our efforts to create a strong and supportive community for women in cardiology, we are planning a special dinner meet-up for female residents and medical students who are considering a career in cardiology. This event will be a wonderful opportunity to network, share insights, and mentor the next generation of women in our field.

Date: March 5, 2025 (Wednesday)

Time: 6:00 – 8:00pm

Location: Southern Grounds & Co.

Shoppes of Avondale

3562 St Johns Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205

RSVP: Please RSVP here to ensure an accurate count for the restaurant

This will be a great opportunity leading up to the annual ACC in March, which will take place in Chicago.

Additionally, if you know any of your colleagues at other nearby institutions, who may be interested in getting involved, please feel free to pass this invitation along!

We would love to have you participate in this initiative and be part of this exciting event.

CardioConnect: Exploring Careers in Cardiology with Women Who Are Leading the Way

Mission: The CardioConnect Program was developed in 2024 by the Florida ACC WIC Committee to encourage female medical students and internal medicine residents to pursue a career in cardiology, thus increasing future recruitment of women in our field.  With increased representation of women in cardiology, we can continue to break down barriers affecting care of women with heart disease.
