Helping the Next Generation

Our state is a source of impressive research from members who want to better their communities and find more ways to fight heart disease and expand preventative care.  Much of this is done on a small scale – in a practice, at a health center, or in a school setting and would benefit from input from current practicing cardiologists and CVTeam members.  In particular, the chapter is asked routinely to send out surveys to its membership to gather empirical data.  While we cannot fulfill every request, we are able to list survey opportunities on this page and point the membership this way in regular communication vehicles.  If you are interested, please review the criteria and submit an application.

Criteria

    • Project is completely non-commercial; there is no grant funding or other support from for-profit entities
    • Project lead will be able to report back on data
    • The main objective of the project is to collect data that will better patient care in cardiology or assess exactly how to positively impact patients or care givers who work in a cardiology setting
