2026 HRS/AHA/APHRS/EHRA/IDSA/LAHRS/PACES/STS Expert Consensus Statement Update on Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) Lead Management and Extraction  

The statement was released only a few months ago. It provides evidence-based updates to previous 2017 guidelines, focusing on modern device technologies, infection management, and procedural standardization.  Danesh K. Kella, M.B.B.S., is developing new technology to facilitate extraction.  Join this grand rounds series to hear about this latest technology and lead management in light of the updates.
