Early, Mid or Late Career; Redefining What Practices and Individuals Need to Consider for ‘Retirement'

Typically, individuals consider their own retirement tied to how much money they have amassed and colleagues are happy to contribute to the parting gift and subsequent party. In the medical field, though, reality is different. When a colleague starts to wind down - going part-time, no call or even just removed from labs - who is going to pick up the slack? Those who have NOT retired! This session will review not only financial considerations but address ageism, contract issues, different part-time arrangements, and partnership considerations for all members of the cardiac care team.
